1. | For a quick test use a Vacuum Gauge with a rubber hose, or equal, that will fit over snifter valve. |
2. | Remove air line or cap from snifter valve and loosen snifter valve core so it may leak slightly. |
3. | Insert hose on Vacuum Gauge over sniftner valve and start pump. |
A. | At zero tank pressure the Vacuum Gauge should not rise above 26 inches of vacuum, if the gauge should rise above 26 inches of vacuum, the well is either not funishing enough water or the foot valve is not fully opening. |
B. | The Vacuum Gauge should read zero betwwn 25 and 27 pounds tank pressure: if not , the will is not furnishing enough water. |
